A mask making competition was conducted on 8th August, 2019 for the students of Sr. KG. The students actively participated in the competition. This competition was conducted to nurture the imagination of the students and help them to develop and strengthen their motor skills.
Red is colour of power, courage and love. To make them aware about red colour SSPS celebrated Red Day on 3rd July, 2019 where all the students of SSPS were dressed in red. Even teachers enthusiastically took part in the celebration. The backdrop as well as the bulletin board etc. Everything turned into red that day.
Yoga can help children to increase strength, flexibility and co-ordination. Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June, 2019. This yoga day students from SR. KG. performed yoga asanas under the watchful eyes of our yoga teacher Mam Ketan and other class & co teacher.
Orientation for the parents of Playgroup A to D was organized on 29th June, 2019 in the beginning of the session to guide them on the following points.- Almanac, School policies, School rules and regulation.The same was graced by our honourable Director Sir Jiral Shah, Principal of secondary section Mam Nita Sanghavi, Primary Section Mam Kumkum Biswas and other sectional heads.

SSPS is one among them that understands the importance of extra – curriculum activities and hence takes pride in organizing events such as singing and dancing. The school complements academics with extra-curricular activities to ensure children are well rounded. These form a part of the process of learning. Solo Singing Competition and Dance Competition was organized on 14.12.18 (Friday). Winners were rewarded for their excellent performances.
It was a bright sunny day, when all the students were seen excited to go for their much awaited 'Toy Train Ride' at Kamatibaug. The picnic was a much needed break from the regular schedule of the students in school and the children made the best out of the day.
As philosophers and scholars say, nature is a great teacher to teach hidden facts and beauty. We gain direct, real, and true knowledge from nature, “Nature is a great teacher, a real knowledge preacher”. In school with other activities, day out has its own specific importance to provide special pleasure and serenity in tough scheduled student life with routine studies, students get practical experience after taking part in long or short trips called "Day Outs". Recently students of K.G. Section visited Garden.

Kids were shown all the things brown in colour which they love to eat/play like cookies, chocolate, teddy bear, etc.

Scholastic and co-scholastic activities are equally important for the all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, SSPS conducted the Fancy Dress Competition for the children of Sr. KG. on 29th October, 2018. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience. Children came dressed up in their colourful costumes and spoke about the national leaders, emerging issues of the society, fruit etc. The effort and hard work of children and the parents were highly commendable. The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
