The first day of school is memorable and eventful for every child. Children are quite excited and nervous about going to school and meeting new people. The first day at school, where their schooling begins plays an important role in child’s life. We at SSPS whole heartedly welcomed our little ones. To create a positive impact, comfort and eagerness for to come to school happily. The school entrance was decked up with cutouts of cartoon characters and colorful balloons. The attraction of the day was children’s all-time favorite mickey mouse’s welcome moves!

International Yoga Day
The age old saying ‘Health is Wealth’ was reinforced to the Kindergarteners on International Yoga Day. The students played their role of participating in the Yoga Day by practicing along some basic asanas demonstrated by the teachers. They were also given an understanding of what is yoga and how it plays an important part in shaping our health. The little ones enthusiastically put in their best efforts in demonstrating every asana to the best of their ability. The students of Sr. KG & Prep-I actively participated in this event. The students enjoyed the session immensely. The Yoga Day was celebrated on International Yoda Day on 21/06/2023.
Parent’s Orientation Session

A warm welcome to SSPS family! We are elated that you have selected our School for your child’s foundational years of schooling. Now it’s time to get connected and create a partnership between us for the betterment of our children. Hence an “Orientation Programe” regarding our school philosophy and functioning, was held on 24/06/23 (Saturday).

Red Day Celebration
The Red Day Celebration at SSPS was a resounding success, uniting the entire school community in a jubilant display of school spirit and creativity. The visually captivating decoration, the array of red attire, and the engaging activities created an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm throughout the day. The Red Day Celebration was conducted on 03/07/2023. The celebration will be remembered as a vibrant and memorable day that brought smiles to the faces of our little SSPSians.
 Guru Purnima Celebration
Guru Purnima is a day of celebration where children show their love and respect for their teachers. Expressing our gratitude and being thankful is a quality we aim to indoctrinate in our children. A small celebration was held during the school hours on 03/07/2023. Children have made a thank you card for the various Gurus in their life.
Puppet Show
Children love to play with toys and puppets. Their joy of watching puppets dancing and performing before them, is enigmatic. The students of SSPS experienced the same joy on 07/07/2023 while watching the Puppet show organized for them. Fascinating puppets made the kids dance, sing and jump in excitement during the show. The vibrant hall of SSPS came alive with creativity and imagination. The puppet show aimed to entertain and educate the little ones through the art of puppetry. It provided an immersive and educational experience for the little SSPSians, leaving them with a sense of wonder and appreciation for the art of puppetry.
Project Talk – Joint Family & Nuclear Family (Prep-I)

Encouraging kids to share their thoughts and experiences on the topic of joint families and nuclear families can provide valuable insights. To make our students understand about the types of families the project talk on joint family and nuclear family was conducted on 10/07/2023.

Project Talk – My Senses (Sr. KG.)
To spark our student’s curiosity about science and help them to develop observation skills and encourage them to use their five senses. By seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, and tasting something, they are actively engaged in learning through observation. We at SSPS encouraged the children to explore and learn about their senses was fun and educational experience. To know more about the topic the project talk was organized for the students of Sr. KG. students on 11/07/2023.
Cartoon Day Celebration
“Cartoons amuse children by non-realistic or semi-realistic artistic style of drawings or paintings.” To unleash little SSPSians inner cartoon characters and celebrate a day filled with fun and creativity! “Cartoons Day” was celebrated on 21/07/2023 in Pre-Primary section. This day was celebrated with great spirit and zeal. Children came to school with lots of excitement wearing mask and attire of different cartoon characters. Teachers and students merrily danced to tune of cartoon songs. It was a great fun for all of us. Children have enjoyed a lively parade and showcased their creative costumes. They have created a vibrant atmosphere of laughter and camaraderie as they celebrate their love for cartoons.
Project Talk – About Myself (Jr. KG.)
Hosting a project where kids can speak about themselves is a wonderful idea to encourage self-expression and foster a sense of identity. Project Talk for our Jr.KG. tiny tots were organized on 25/07/2023 to know more about themselves and encourage them to develop public speaking skills.
Recitation Competition (Prep-I)
Recitation Competition help students to build self-confidence as they learn to speak more accurately and persuasively about any piece of writing or a poem. Keeping this in mind, English Recitation Competition was organized for Prep-I students on 27/07/2023. Children astonished everyone with their voice modulation and amazing memorizing skills. Many children recited poems on some burning issues such as pollution, save trees and harmful effects of plastic on our environment. A significant message was spread through their poems. Value Of The Month – Respect
We look at different values every month and what they mean to our students. We do this through discussion in class, in assemblies and through our curriculum. Value for the month July was – RESPECT. Respect is a fundamental value that we aim to instill in our students. Throughout the month, we will be engaging in various activities and discussions to emphasize the importance of respect in our daily lives. We believe that by focusing on respect, we can create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our students.
Project Talk – Rainy Season (Nursery)
Pitter Patter Raindrops, Falling From The Sky, Here Is My Umbrella, To Keep Me Safe And Dry. Rainy Season is always a fun time for the kids if it is celebrated in school. Moreover, it makes the school environment light and mesmerizing for our tiny tots. To celebrate the rainy season, we at SSPS organized Project Talk on Rainy Season on 01/08/2023 for our tiny tots. The little stars speak up different sentences on the given topic and many of the students brought flash cards and umbrellas. The teachers made them aware of the things found in this season like corn, frogs, etc.
Brown Color Day Celebration
The Brown Color Day Celebration is a fun-filled event where students got to learn, create and appreciate the significance of the color brown in nature and everyday life. We encouraged all students to dress in brown-colored attire to embrace the spirit of the celebration. The Brown Color Day Celebration was aimed to create a memorable and educational experience for all participants by actively engaged in various activities where students have developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the color brown. The celebration was taking place on 03/08/2023.
Coloring Competition (Nursery)
“Colors are brighter when the mind is open”. We at SSPS believe that every child has an ocean of inner strengths. The main aim behind this is that the child can develop expertise in the field of his choice. Coloring competition was conducted for Nursery children on 04/08/2023. Little ones have always fantasized about colors. Children participated with zeal and showed their talent. It helped them in exploring new ideas, creativity as well as a sense of colors. Animal Dress Up Day (Nursery) (Nursery)
Animal Dress-Up Day at SSPS! This exciting event encourages creativity, imagination, and a love for animals. On Animal Dress-Up Day, students had the opportunity to come to school dressed as their favorite animals. Whether it’s a fierce lion, a graceful butterfly, or a cuddly panda, we welcomed all animal-inspired costumes and creativity!
Vibrant India Week (Nursery)
Day – 1 : ‘Introduction of Our Nation India’ (7/8/23)
“Carried with Care, Coated with pride, Dipped in love, Fly in glory, Moments of Freedom in shades of joy. Proud to be an Indian.” Children were learned facts relating to the Indian Flag, National Emblem, National Bird, National Animal, National Game, Languages etc.

Day – 2 : ‘Cultural Extravaganza’ (8/8/23)
Teachers performed Indian classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Garba, Bihu and other folk dances from various regions. On this occasion, various cultural dances from different regions of India are performed to showcase the diversity and unity of the country. These dance performances are not only meant to entertain but also carry a sense of national pride and unity. Teachers showcased the rich cultural heritage of India and its varied traditions.

Day – 3 : Traditional Attire Day (9/8/23)
The “Traditional Attire Day” celebration successfully combined cultural diversity, patriotism, and a sense of belonging. This unique approach to celebrating Independence Day allowed students to express their individuality while fostering a greater understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage. The event’s success demonstrated that such initiatives can play a pivotal role in nurturing a sense of unity and pride among students.

Day – 4 : Traditional Games Day
As a part of our Vibrant India Week, SSPS celebrated “Traditional Games Day.” This event was aimed to introduce young children to the joys of traditional games that hold cultural significance. The event was a combination of fun, physical activity, and cultural understanding in a meaningful way. It provided an opportunity for the young students to celebrate Independence Day while also fostering important life skills and a connection with their cultural heritage.

Day – 5 : Traditional Food Fest (11/8/23)
We have organized an Indian food festival where children brought a variety of delicious Indian dishes. It includes regional specialties from different parts of India. It was really a good treat for tummy!
Patriotic Song Competition (Sr. KG.)
SSPS has organized a Patriotic Song Competition for Sr. KG. students. Little SSPSians sang the songs with a lot of passion, confidence and patriotic feeling. Each participant showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch and tone. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence for their great nation. The programme was judged by Ms. Ketan Patel. She was impressed with the confidence, the tonal quality, and the costumes according to the theme. Independence Day Celebration (All)
SSPSians enthusiastically celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2023. The children were dressed in tricolor attire and the beautiful program started by educating the children about the importance of Independence Day. Students performed various performances to showcase their inner talent and feelings for their great nation India. Children performed dances on ‘Mai Teri Chunariya’, ‘Challa’ & ‘Sare Jaha Se Pyari’. Sr. KG. students played ‘Jana Gana Mana’ on piano and many of the students fiercely gave speeches on Independence Day. The celebrations ended with the National Anthem. The programme was so designed as to enthuse a feeling of patriotism in the children with pride and love for their country.

Day Out at Kamatibaug (Nursery)
A day filled with excitement, adventure, and endless fun! Tiny tots of Nursery visited “Kamatibaug” on 23rd August, 2023. It was a chance to take a break from routine and create unforgettable memories with their friends.
Day Out at ‘Decathlon’ (Jr. KG., Sr.KG. & Prep-I)
Students of Jr. KG, Sr. KG & Prep-I visited sports store – Decathlon @ Sevasi on 24th & 25th August, 2023. The opportunity to visit the sports store has undoubtedly provided our students with a valuable hands-on experience and a unique learning opportunity. By observing and interacting with the various sports equipment and merchandise, they will be able to gain practical insights into the world of sports. It was an amazing experience and the little ones had super fun!
Project Talk – ‘My School’ (Prep-I)
“Stepping stones play school is here, We are the children of its dear..” School is important for everyone as it helps to acquire the knowledge and skills through which one can build a career in life. To make our children understand more about the importance of school, Project Talk on ‘My School’ was conducted for our Prep-I students.
Rakshabandhan Celebration
Raksha Bandhan : A knot blessed with love and affection Raksha Bandhan is a popular Hindu festival that celebrates the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters. While the primary celebration of Raksha Bandhan typically takes place within families, We at SSPS believe in celebrating the festival in a school to promote a sense of unity and camaraderie among students. To mark the Raksha Bandhan celebration in school ‘Rakhi & Card Making’ activity was conducted and students of Nursery & Jr. KG. performed gracefully to the tune of famous gujarati song ‘Kon Halave Limdi’ and ‘Dhaagon Se Baandhaa’. Parents applauded the performances and appreciated the school’s efforts.
Value Of The Month – Respect

Value for the month August was – SELF DISCIPLINE & SELF LOVE. Self-discipline and self-love are two essential components of personal growth and happiness. They may seem contradictory at first, as self-discipline can sometimes be associated with strictness and self-love with indulgence. However, when balanced properly, they can complement each other and lead to a fulfilling life.
Blue Day Celebration
The Blue Color Day Celebration held on 4th September, 2023 was a vibrant and exciting day that brought together students and teachers to celebrate the beauty and significance of the color blue. This day was organized by SSPS as a part of our efforts to promote creativity, unity, and cultural awareness among our students. It showcased the incredible talents of our students and provided an opportunity for learning and fun. We believe that such events not only make learning enjoyable but also promote a sense of belonging and cultural awareness within our school community.
Janmashtami Celebration
Celebrating Janmashtami in a school was a wonderful way to educate students about the significance of the festival and engage them in cultural and religious activities. Janmashtami is the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birthday and is observed with great enthusiasm across India. Janmashtami is not just a celebration but an opportunity to impart values and lessons from Lord Krishna’s life to the students. Various cultural activities and matki phod were organized for our little Krishnas & Radhas.
Grand Parents Day Celebration (Nursery)
दादा – दादी कितने प्यारे, हम इनकी आँखों के तारे तन चांहे हो बूढ़ा इनका, पर होते जवान दिल वाले | Celebrating Grandparents’ Day was a heartwarming way to honor and appreciate the invaluable role that grandparents play in their grandchildren’s lives. We at SSPS, whole heartedly invited grandparents of ‘Nursery’ students on 11/09/2023 (Monday). The celebration started with enchanting prayer. Children performed various evergreen old songs and dedicated their love and affection towards Dada-Dadi / Nana-Nani. Grandparents also performed various Songs/Bhajans. At the end kids and grandparents engaged in craft activity and took selfies at our special selfie point. It was indeed a super exciting and memorable day for children and their grandparents.
Talk – Health & Hygiene (Sr. KG.)
Good personal hygiene habits enable our children to stay healthy and free from illnesses. To make them understand about the different practices to maintain good health and hygiene the project talk was organized on 12/09/2023. Children amazed the fellow students and teachers with unique presentations and placards to implement healthy and hygienic practice in day to day life.
Hindi Diwas Celebration
“Hindi is the simplest source of expression of our nation” – Sumitranandan Pant India is a land of many cultures, religions, regions, traditions and languages but one thing that remains common throughout the Indian soil is our national language – Hindi. To make our students aware about the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language, Hindi Recitation was held on 14/09/2023. To celebrate the same the students delivered different Poems, Speeches, Dohas, Shlokas and Prayers fearlessly.
Talk – Community Helpers (Jr. KG.)
Creating a project on community helpers is a great way to teach children about the various roles people play in their community to keep it functioning smoothly. Encouraging kids to share their thoughts and experiences on the topic of community helpers can provide valuable insights. Children prepared role plays of teacher, doctor, policeman, watchman, car painter etc. To support their character / role they dressed up like them and also delivered speeches with thoughtful placards.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
Ganesh Chaturthi is a significant Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed God of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. It is observed with great enthusiasm at SSPS from the last 7 years. Ganesh Chaturthi is not only a religious celebration but also a cultural phenomenon that brings people together in joy, devotion, and celebration. Cultural performances were performed to worship lord Ganesha.
Show & Tell Competition

Value for the month of September was ‘Honesty’. Honesty is not just a virtue; it’s a way of life that enriches our connections, strengthens our character, and enhances our well-being.
Gandhi Jayanti Celebration
Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led India to its glorious freedom. 2nd October every year is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti and to celebrate the same special assembly was organized at school where children learned the significance of our beloved Bapu.
Celebration Of 100th Day Of Kindergarten

Celebrating the 100th day of kindergarten is a fun and significant milestone for both students and teachers. It was a great opportunity to create a memorable experience for the young learners. The special Magic Show was organized in the school auditorium and children did various activities which represented the number 100. It was a fun-filled day for all of them.

 

Project Talk – Transportation (Prep-I)
Creating a transportation-themed project for kindergarten students can be a fun and educational way to introduce them to different modes of transportation and their features. For the same project talk was held on 06/10/2023 for prep-I students. It was a thoughtful day for our young ones.
Fancy Dress Competition (Nursery to Prep-I)
We were thrilled to invite our talented little ones to participate in the Fancy Dress Competition. It was indeed a delightful and creative event, filled with imagination, fun, and lots of enthusiasm! A fancy-dress competition is a creative and exciting event where participants dress up in unique and imaginative costumes. Mom’s Day Out : Fitness & Garba Workshop
Ever thought of Garba as a form of workout? Yes, this power packed dance form can be magical for your health. SSPS moms can be seen enjoying the beats and spirit of Garba and Navratri in high intensity. This quick Garba workshop was all we needed to get us grooving this Navratri. A day of love and laughter to celebrate the incredible mothers and mother figures who make our little ones world brighter. Special Mom’s Day out was organized on 14/10/2023 at the school campus. Well Known fashion influencer and actress Ms. Kanan Bhatt hosted the Garba & Fitness Workshop.
Drawing Competition (Jr. KG.)
We were thrilled to invite our young artists to participate in a delightful Drawing Competition. It was held in respective classrooms on 16/10/2023. The theme of the competition was ‘A Unicorn’ or ‘An Aquarium’. Little SSPSians imagination ran wild and have created a masterpiece! Navratri Utsav – 2023
Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across India. It marks the triumph of good over evil and is dedicated to the goddess Durga. Students and teachers participated in garba competition, dressed in traditional Indian attire. The beats of the dhol and the colorful costumes added to the festive ambiance. The Navratri celebration in our school was a resounding success, promoting cultural awareness and unity among students and staff. It allowed everyone to learn about the rich traditions of India and the importance of Navratri in Hindu culture. Such celebrations foster a sense of togetherness and mutual respect among students of different backgrounds, and they serve as a platform for cultural exchange and understanding. At the end winners were felicitated.
Yellow Day Celebration
A “Yellow Day” celebration in a school is a fun and creative event where students and teachers dress primarily in yellow and engage in various activities related to the colour yellow. It provides an educational and fun platform for students to explore the colour yellow, its significance, and its relevance in various aspects of life.
Diwali Celebration
Celebrating Diwali in a school is a wonderful way to introduce students to the cultural and religious significance of the festival of lights, foster diversity and inclusivity, and promote understanding among students of different backgrounds. With bright shining diyas, colorful rangolis and festivities all around, children enjoyed burning crackers and did various activities related to Diwali. It was a fun day for them.
Black Day Celebration
“Black Colour Day” in kindergarten refers to an event where children focus on the colour black as a part of their learning experience. A day of fun and creativity as we explore the colour black through various activities. Children thoroughly enjoyed this day and made wonderful memories.
Project Talk – Save Environment (Prep-I)
In an inspiring display of environmental awareness and responsibility, a group of enthusiastic kids of Prep-I, embarked on a mission to contribute to the preservation of our planet. Through their “Save Environment” project, these young minds demonstrated a deep commitment to creating a sustainable future. The “Save Environment” project led by these dedicated kids is a shining example of how young minds, when empowered with knowledge and a sense of responsibility, can contribute significantly to environmental conservation. Their project serves as a beacon of hope for a sustainable future and inspires others to take action in preserving the beauty and health of our planet.

We were excited to embark on a journey of exploration and celebration by delving into the rich tapestry of festivals that colour our lives. In a colorful and culturally enriching initiative, a group of young enthusiasts of Sr. KG. embarked on a journey to explore and celebrate the diverse tapestry of India’s festivals. Through their “Festivals of India” project, these children not only showcased the vibrancy of the country’s cultural heritage but also fostered understanding and appreciation among their peers.

In an effort to understand and share the rhythms of their everyday lives, a group of enthusiasts of Jr. KG. undertook the “My Daily Routine” project. Through this initiative, the children not only gained insights into their own habits and schedules but also developed a sense of camaraderie as they compared and contrasted their unique daily routines.

The idea of combining a nursery students and farm/nursery involves creating a harmonious space where young minds can blossom alongside crops. This innovative approach aims to blend agricultural education with early childhood development, fostering a deeper connection with nature.
Visit To ‘Volkswagen Car Showroom’ (Jr. KG.)
The visit to the Volkswagen Car Showroom was both educational and enlightening for the participating students. The showroom staff welcomed our students with great joy. Students were given a guided tour of the showroom. They had the opportunity to closely inspect various Volkswagen car models, including their features and design. The interactive nature of the tour allowed students to ask questions and engage in discussions with knowledgeable showroom staff. We extend our gratitude to the Volkswagen team for their hospitality and informative presentations.

SSPSians won 2nd Position at ‘The Pinnacle – 2023’ @ Cygnus World School In a celebration of eloquence and oratory skills, students of SSPS emerged as victors in a public speaking competition – Flavours Of India. This competition was held at Cygnus World School. The winning students Jiya Dhuvad & Kenil Gohel delivered a compelling and thought-provoking speech on the state of Rajasthan. Their words were not only eloquent but also held a deep resonance with the audience and judges alike.The victory of these talented students at ‘The Pinnacle – 2023’ underscores their dedication, articulate expression, and a profound understanding of effective communication.
