 Event Title: The Red Day celebration
A wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours there by reinforcing cognitive skills. It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy and happiness. “RED” is NOT JUST A COLOUR IT IS ENTHUSIASM. IT IS HAPPINESS. IT IS ENERGY. IT IS ANGER. IT IS LOVE. STEPPING STONES PLAY SCHOOL, conducted a RED DAY on 16.7.21 (FRIDAY). Students dressed up in red attire. Teachers created a corner where red objects were displayed like a red ball, a red balloon, red flower, Santa Claus, an apple, red chilly, strawberry, cherry, a fire craft truck etc. All the little angels and staff dressed up beautifully in Red Colour clothes. Hence, colours are the smiles of nature.
 Event Title: Rakhi Making Activity
Rakhi also called as Raksha Bandhan symbolises the true love and bond between brother and sisters. Rakhi has deep significance and it has been used for the protection of the person who ties it on his hand from mythological times. This sacred thread is used by Lord Indra, Queen Karnavati, Kunti, Rabindranath Tagore and other famous personalities to create harmony in the world. To commemorate this festival, Virtual Rakhi Making Activity’ was organized on 19.8.21. The students enthusiastically participated this activity. Students by using different decorative material made creative and beautiful Rakhi. They showcased their talent by sending the virtual pictures of their beautiful handmade Rakhi. The school authorities appreciated and motivated our little stars to take part in future activites.
 Event Title: Fancy Dress Competition
An unusual or amusing costume worn to a social event to make someone look like, for example a famous person or well known fictional character. STEPPING STONES PLAY SCHOOL conducted a Fancy Dress Competition held on 13.8.21 to pay a tribute to freedom fighters who fought for us and gave us the privilege to call ourselves the citizens of a free country, A free INDIA. Students showed respect and walked on the foot prints of our freedom fighter by playing different roles and won the prizes.

 Event Title: Fruit Basket Competition
The most prestigious thing in the world is education. Nowadays we all are giving same importance to Art & skill. While government of India is also giving new opportunities by launching “Skill India”. Mission competition. To encourage children drawing was held by SSPS on 7.10.21.
The topic selected for the competition was “Fruit Basket” where children were going to learnt the importance of eating fruits in our daily life as well as in this pandemic period. All children drew a very innovative and a unique fruit basket and decorated it with beautiful colours, stones etc. to encourage kids 1st, 2nd 3rd and 2 consolation prize were given. The details of winners are :

The motto of doing this competition was to inculcate children and to express their ideas to their level.
 Event Title : Diya Making Activity
15thDiya is essential in Hinduism because it signifies purity, goddess, goodluck and power. According to the Indian mythology diya is must needed to pray the god. The biggest festival in India is Diwali. Diwali is the festival of victory also it is a festival of welcoming god Rama to his kingdom Ayodhya.
To celebrate joy we are celebrating Diwali with lighting our houses and doing Rangoli. Diya is spreading light every where, the presence of light means the non existence of darkness and evil forces. To empower the children of to learnt the importance of Diya. We conducted an Acitivity of Diya making in our school for all student. The same kind of Activity was held in our school on 28.10.21 where our tiny tots decorated Diya with stones, gliters and colours all together made the activity more colourful & realistic. All children got the opportunity to show case their Art and Creativity. Finally the activity ended with joy and happiness.
 Event Title : Blue Colour Activity
“Let the blue sky meet the blue sea and all is blue for a time.”

Blue is the colour of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust has a very vital place in our lives. In order to emphasize the importance of blue colour SSPS conducted “Blue Colour Activity”. The children were seen in blue attire and to make kids more cheerful the activity was conducted on online basis. Topic selected for the Blue day activity was ‘save water’ in which children drew the drawing of waster drop and coloured it with blue crayons. They learnt the importance of water and also gave the message not to waste water as it is the most important source of earth. The children showed great excitement and keen interest while performing the activity.
 “The first wealth is health”
The healthy & unhealthy eating habits always affects physical emotional and mental growth of children in various sphere of life. So to inculcate healthy eating habits and to share more knowledge about the same SSPS conducted ‘Healthy & Unhealthy” Project talk keeping in mind the guidance of government “Project Talk” was conducted online. The children were so enthusiastic and happy to share their different thoughts. They groomed themselves with props like chart paper, crowns made up of healthy eating and some of them showed live things related to the project talk. At the end the talk was finished with taking screenshots of presentation given by the children. Finally the children learnt the importance of healthy eating and promise to minimize the intake of Junk food.
Ganpati Making
“Lord Ganesha is our mentor and protector. He enrich our life, by always giving us great beginnings and removing obstacles from our life.” To show devotion towards lord Ganesh, Ganpati making activity was held by SSPS. In this activity our tiny tots made idol of lord Ganesh using different vibrant colours of clay. Clay craft is a fun and interesting way to encourage child’s imagination and creativity. Through this activity they showed their creativity and made Bal Ganesha. Their level of happiness was unlimited!
 Grand Parents Day
Grand parents are the strongest foundation of the family. They are the founders of loving legacy and keepers of family, traditions that linger on in cherished memories. To make Grand parents feel special we had organized Grand parents day. On this day grand parents virtually took part with their grand children. They expressed their thoughts, sang bhajans and shared their experience. They were very glad that they got chance to participate in an activity with their grand children. They showed great team spirit and enjoyed a lot.
 Community Helpers
Community helpers are the individuals who live and work in our community and ensure that the community stays healthy, safe and happy. To create awareness about the role of community helpers in our day to day life SSPS had conducted a project talk on ‘Community Helpers’. In this project talk our little once dressed themselves on their chosen profession. They acted, explained about their profession. They also gave message that we all should respect each and every profession because community helpers devote their time, happiness and energy.
 Shloka Chanting
Shloka chanting has been a part of our tradition from time immemorial. The immense peace during the chanting is inexplicable. The vibration of chanting bring purity and serenity to the environment all around. Chanting shlokas also balances the responses of our nervous system. So to experience the fragrance of the same a shloka chanting activity was conducted by SSPS on 23.7.21. Each and every child got opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence which inspired them to come forward.
Kids participated enthusiastically with flawless chanting of shlokas. Their presentation, clarity and confidence was mind blowing.
 Yellow Colour Day
“Colours are the smiles of nature”

Children love colours and it is always a special treat when a colour day is celebrated. To make the smile part of our learning process “Yellow Colour Day” was celebrated on 10.12.21.
Yellow is the colour of optimism, glory, sunshine and happiness. It stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”.
To make their day memorable and indelible a yellow colour photo booth was created by our passionate teachers, which our tiny tots enjoyed entirely.
 Germination
“For a better tomorrow plant more trees and make this planet a better place to live in.”
SSPS Focuses not just on the academic development of the students but also teaches them to be the good and responsible human being. So as to saw the seeds of love towards nature and to know how a seed becomes a plant and then tree. Germination activity was conducted on 19.7.21 virtually.
Where children were instructed to sow seeds that are available at home in a pot and they were instructed to pour water and place the pot in the sun. We explained each and every step in virtual session. All kids enjoyed whole process. Kids were asked to observe their pot. Later all kids showed how their seeds grow into a plant.
 Dance Competition
Dance is the most enthusiastic and expressive means and to develop gross motor skills. It is the joy of movement and the most beautiful of the arts, because it is the way of expressing the life. SSPS conducted Solo Dance Competition on 6.12.21 in which Sr. Kg. kids took part. So this was the first time in which kids were going to perform and that to solo presentation. There was no fear or shyness in our kids. The kids chose best songs for their performance and explored their talent. The judgment was based on three c’s Costume, Choreography and it feels great to share the names of the winners of Dance competition.
